HEXAGRAPHENE NANO Technologies Inc. (HEXAGRAPHENE), a leading company in the field of carbon removal and carbon capture & utilization solutions, announced that Dr. Akram Hamid has joined its board of directors as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) in 2023.

Dr. Akram Hamid is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dallata Consulting Group Ltd. (DCG). Founded in 2004 through the merger of seven international companies operating on three continents, DCG is a distinguished consulting firm that provides innovative solutions to help clients achieve their sustainable growth and global expansion goals. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, DCG operates in over 27 countries, with branches in the US, New Zealand, Jordan, Syria and Egypt, local agencies in Saudi Arabia and sister companies in Dubai, London, Bangladesh and Morocco.

Hexagraphene founder and CEO Dr. Gözde Koygun and Dr. Akram Hamid have strengthened their partnership. Dr. Akram will continue to contribute to Hexagraphene’s global growth with his deep experience in financial strategies, corporate transformation and clean technology investments.

Dr. Akram Hamid serves as the Chairman of the Taiwan Green Foundation and is actively involved in the boards of the Kuwait and London Green Foundations. He is also a founding board member and chief strategist of six different carbon exchanges, contributing to the development of sustainability and carbon management strategies for various countries. With extensive expertise in environmental and social impact banking, clean technology and private equity investments, Dr. Hamid will focus on developing financial strategies that will support Hexagraphene’s ambition to become a global leader in carbon capture and decarbonization technologies.
